Writing my dissertation

I have recently finished writing my 5,000 word dissertation for my BA and I would like to share a few thoughts on how it went.
The themes I covered were feminism, body image, gender theory, the male gaze, beauty ideals, and disgust. I chose these themes to write about because I have a passion for feminism and also we had covered some of the themes in my previous contextual studies work in my first and second years of university.
I thought writing it was going to be really hard and, whilst it was, I have found that I am actually quite good at theory writing and researching. Not only that, I also enjoy it.
What I am taking from this is that it might be a good idea for me to look onto doing something like an MA or a MRes after my BA is complete because I have found that I have a talent for theory writing as well as design.
Overall, I actually enjoyed the task of writing my dissertation and I look forward to seeing the mark that I get from it. I'll leave this post here with Judith Butler:
